Certainly, Tres de trail was going to have its own virtual race. But we must confess that this idea came to us before the world stopped. In fact, it's our way of celebrating our anniversary, which will be on August 21st. So here it is, The Tres de Trail virtual race starts right now.
How does it works?
On August 23rd each of you will have to do a 90-minute activity on foot, at the time, place, and route of your choice. We want you to get creative and go to the most beautiful and amazing route you know for this race, keep in mind that you will also need to take your time to plan the strategy for the race! Of course, you will have to record your activity with a GPS tracking device.

​After your run, you will receive by email a form in which you must upload your activity data, plus the link of your activity in Strava. Then you will start participating in the categories that will be awarded later.
Why Pangea?
There was a time when all the continents were united. Today, the Internet connects us to the entire planet within seconds. So Tres de Trail wants to be the Pangea of trail running with this annual event. After all, now it's time to be united. ¿Right?
Categories?
Yes, in Pangea Virtual Run you can sign up for either one, two, or three categories, this is how it works:
DISTANCE
We'll reward the girl and guy who can run the farthest in the 90-minute competition. There is no minimum elevation gain, so we want to see those running paces below 3:45/km and have you digging deep giving everything you got, obviously!
ELEVATION GAIN
Our planet is full of mountains, this inspired us to reward the guy and girl who can accumulate the most meters of vertical gain during the 90 minutes of the activity. You can look for a very vertical route, or maybe go for some hill repeats...the strategy is yours.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We want to see creativity, so we will reward the best picture taken during the race. You will have to attach it when you send us the record of your activity, we will announce more details for this category very soon
Keep in mind! Everyone participates in all categories, but it's up to each one of you to decide which one to focus on, it's a matter of strategy.
Awards
The 5 winners will receive, on their doorstep, a beautiful wooden trophy designed by Juan Sebastian himself. We can tell you that the concept of the trophy is mind-blowing, so we are confident it will be a beautiful decor piece for your home.

SHIPPING POLICIES
For everyone registered in Colombia, shipping is included in the registration fee.

International runners must bear with the shipping costs, however, each of them will be contacted individually to attend to each case, as it should be.

Kits inside Colombia will be starting shipping August 15th, with no exceptions.
